Silver Snake Chain 1mm

This snake chain is drawn fine at 1mm, its small plates locked so closely together that the surface has no gaps to snag on knitwear. The metal is sterling silver 925 the whole way through.

Under 1.5mm counts as delicate, and at 1mm the chain all but disappears at arm’s length, which is exactly the point when a small pendant is meant to lead. Three lengths are listed: 40cm (16″) at the base of the neck, 45cm (18″) just under the collarbone, and 50cm (20″) down on the chest.

Sterling silver 925, made in Italy, and best kept hanging or laid flat, since a fine snake will hold a bend once it takes one. Tarnish comes with the territory in silver; a few passes with a silver cloth clear it. We post Australia-wide using an insured Express Post service.
