Silver Rope Chain Darkened 1.7mm

Twisted strands of 925 sterling silver wind around one another to build this rope chain, so light travels down it in a spiral rather than flashing off flat faces. The 1.7mm gauge holds the twist clearly, and the darkened finish settles into the grooves between strands, which makes the spiral read more sharply.

At 1.7mm it is an everyday chain: light on the neck, though a rope carries more visual weight than its width suggests, and it will take most standard pendants. Pick 50cm to sit on the chest, 55cm to clear a crew neck, or 60cm for a longer drop over a jumper. The darker tone stands out beside bright silver in a layered set.
