Oval links, each crossed by a bar through the centre, give this chain its anchor construction — a pattern lifted straight from ship chain. The links run 3mm wide and are diamond-cut, meaning facets are machined into the outer faces so the metal breaks up light as it turns. It is solid gold throughout, offered in both 9ct and 18ct yellow gold.
Three millimetres of solid gold has real presence. The chain looks finished with nothing hanging from it and has the strength to carry a heavier pendant without strain. Four lengths are on offer: 40cm (16″) at the base of the neck, 45cm (18″) just below the collarbone, 50cm (20″) on the chest, and 60cm (24″) sitting mid-chest and clear of most collars.
