Fine barely covers it: the links measure 0.25mm, a curb chain taken down to the thinnest version of itself. Sterling silver 925 forms the body, with 18ct gold plating over the top, and the flattened links still throw light the way a heavier curb does, only on a far smaller scale.
At this gauge the chain is not built to hang a pendant from, so wear it bare or as the finest strand in a layered set. One length is made, 42cm, falling just below the collarbone and sitting well above a longer piece. Against an open neckline it reads more like a thin gold thread than a chain.
The chain is made in Italy, and the gold on it is a plated layer rather than solid metal. There is little margin in a layer that thin, so keep it clear of perfume, chlorine and sea water, and store it dry between wears.
