Margarita Yellow Gold Plated Silver Chain

Each link on this margarita chain is cut with facets, so a run of them scatters light in small points rather than long reflections. The links measure 1.1mm, very fine work, over a sterling silver 925 base finished in 18ct yellow gold plating.

Under 1.5mm counts as fine, and this sits well below that: a delicate chain, best on its own or with a small pendant that will not outweigh it. One length is made, 41cm with a 5cm extender, covering everything from a high, close drop to just under the collarbone. Because the faceting does the work, it also layers neatly beside a plain chain.
