Yellow gold plated silver chain with small beads

Tiny beads run the length of this chain at close, even spacing, so the line breaks into small points of light instead of reading as one continuous strand. Chain and beads are finished alike in 18ct gold plating over sterling silver 925, which keeps the effect tonal, texture rather than contrast. The gauge is fine and light throughout.

A chain of this weight sits softly and moves with the wearer rather than holding a shape. Worn on its own it stays understated, and run above a longer chain it gives a layered set a change of surface. There is one length only, 40cm+5cm, and the extender lets it fasten snug at the throat or drop a little lower.
