Gold Plated Silver Chain Snake

Snake chain is built from tightly fitted plates rather than open links, so the finished chain forms a smooth round tube with no gaps to see through. At 1mm this is a slim version of that construction, flexible along its length and continuous to the eye. The metal is sterling silver 925 under 18ct gold plating.

Fine gauge, so it is best worn close and alone, because the unbroken gold surface is the whole effect and a pendant tends to interrupt it. Two short drops are available: 40cm at the base of the neck and 45cm just under the collarbone. Both suit an open collar or a scoop neckline where the full chain shows.

Italian-made, with 18ct gold plating over sterling silver. Snake chains prefer to be stored straight, since a sharp kink in the plates will not come out, so hang it or lay it flat and keep perfume and pool water off the plating.
