Silver Cable Chain 1.8mm

Cable is the form every other chain is measured against: plain oval links, each turned ninety degrees to the one before so the chain lies flat and turns freely. Drawn at 1.8mm in sterling silver 925, the links are large enough to read individually without the chain looking coarse.

This is the width most people mean by an everyday chain. It will carry the majority of pendants sold, and a jump ring passes through the links without a fight. Two options: 40cm (16″), which sits at the base of the neck, and 45cm (18″), which falls just under the collarbone and is the standard drop for an adult wearing a pendant.
