Rope chain is built from strands wound around one another, so the surface spirals and light travels along it as the chain moves. At 1.7mm this one is fine enough that the twist reads as a soft glitter rather than a thick braid. The metal is sterling silver 925.
The width suits everyday wear. It will carry most ordinary pendants and holds its shape better than a plain link of the same gauge, since the twist gives it body. Two lengths are made: 50cm, which rests on the chest, and 61cm, which falls mid-chest and clears a jumper or a high neckline.
