Gold cable chain with square beads

A cable chain drawn fine, its round links each turned ninety degrees to the one before, with small square beads set at intervals along the run. The links measure 0.7mm and the beads 1.1mm, so the beads stand just proud of the line of the chain.

At 0.7mm this is delicate work, meant to be worn on its own with the square beads doing the detailing, or under a very light pendant. There is one length, 45 cm, which falls just below the collarbone and slips neatly beneath a shorter chain when layered.

Solid 9ct gold, made in Italy, with the same metal at the surface as in the core and no plated layer to thin out. Store it laid flat rather than coiled so the fine links do not knot. Posting is by insured Express Post, Australia-wide.
