One long link followed by two short ones, repeating the entire way down — that rhythm is what makes a figaro recognisable from across a room. This version is sterling silver 925 at 5.5mm, with the links flattened so the chain lies flush rather than rolling as it moves.
At 5.5mm it is a statement weight and carries best on its own; a pendant would only compete with the link pattern. Lengths run 45cm, 50cm and 55cm — the shortest just under the collarbone, the middle onto the chest, the longest mid-chest where it sits clear of an open shirt. The alternating links are easiest to read at the longer drops.
The chain comes out of Italy and is 925 sterling front to back. A grey cast will build up over months, which is normal for silver, and a polishing cloth takes it straight off. Delivery is insured Express Post, anywhere in Australia.
