Cube beads of 1.5mm, rhodium plated, punctuate a 0.9mm gold-plated chain at regular intervals. The two finishes do different jobs: the warm gold line carries the eye along, and the small white-metal cubes interrupt it with flat faces that pick up light at hard angles. Under both platings is sterling silver 925.
Fine and quiet describes it well. A 0.9mm gauge sits close to the skin and works best worn alone or as the top line in a stack of two or three, being far too light to carry much of a pendant. Both options include a 5cm extender: 40cm+5cm rests at the collarbone or just above, and 50cm+5cm drops onto the chest with room to adjust.
Italian-made, with 18ct gold plating on the chain and rhodium plating on the beads over a sterling silver base. Rhodium is a hard, bright white finish, but neither plating tolerates abrasives, so clean with a soft dry cloth and keep scent and chlorine off it. Australia-wide delivery is by insured Express Post at a flat rate.
