Rose gold plated silver chain with small beads

Beads of 1.7mm are strung at intervals along a 0.7mm cable, which is about as fine as a chain can be made and still hold a bead in place. The metal is sterling silver 925 under a plating of 18ct rose gold, so the warm colour is a surface finish over solid silver rather than rose gold all the way down.

Everything about it is delicate. From any distance it reads as a warm line instead of a chain, and it belongs on its own or as the finest strand in a stack of two or three. It is made at 41cm with a 5cm extender, so the drop can be set anywhere between the hollow of the throat and just under the collarbone.
