Gold cable chain 2.8mm

Rhombus-shaped links form this cable chain, each one set at right angles to the one before so the run lies flat and turns freely in the hand. The links measure 2.8mm across and are worked in solid 9ct yellow gold. Their angled sides pick up more light than a plain round link would.

At 2.8mm the chain carries itself on a bare neck and has enough substance for a pendant with some weight behind it. It is made in one length only, 45cm, which falls just below the collarbone on most people — high enough to show above a crew neck, low enough to sit under a longer chain when layering.
