Gold Plated Silver Cable Chain 1.4mm

Each link in this cable chain is a simple round loop turned square to its neighbour, the plainest and most useful chain geometry there is. It measures 1.4mm across, worked in sterling silver 925 and plated in 18ct gold. The links stay uniform end to end, with no pattern breaks along the run.

That width sits on the fine side of everyday: visible enough on its own, and steady enough for a small or medium pendant without dragging. One length is made, 41cm+5cm, which places the clasp anywhere between the base of the throat and a little below it, depending on which link the extender is fastened to.

Italian-made, with 18ct gold plating on a sterling silver 925 core. Plating is a surface layer and does best treated as one, since perfume, chlorine and salt water are what wear it thin; a soft dry cloth after wearing is enough.
